Jordan Museum VR - Ajloun Experience

Challenge

Developing an expandable VR museum that introduces Jordan and its governorates interactively, while turning Ajloun from static information and images into an immersive experience with a dedicated room and a cable car journey through a rainy environment.

Objective

To create a VR experience that begins in a main museum hall, lets users choose a governorate, and then guides them through its content. The current version focuses on Ajloun through information panels, artifacts, display objects, and a cable car sequence over forests and mountains.

PG Studios Solution

Jordan Museum VR - Ajloun Experience was designed as an interactive virtual museum. Users enter a main hall that introduces Jordan’s identity, then move into the Ajloun room to explore the governorate’s history, nature, and cultural landmarks. The experience combines clear museum-style presentation with an immersive cable car segment, shifting the user from reading panels and viewing artifacts into feeling a journey above Ajloun’s green landscapes in a rainy atmosphere.

Production Approach

  • VR museum concept development connecting the main hall with governorate rooms.
  • Main hall design with an archaeological identity and visual entrances to governorates.
  • Ajloun room development as the current playable and expandable station.
  • Information panels covering Ajloun Castle, nature, and cultural sites.
  • Artifact and display object design to strengthen the museum experience.
  • Ajloun cable car experience development with rain, forests, and mountain views.
  • User flow design from entry to selection, exploration, and immersive travel.

Results & Impact

  • The project resulted in an expandable VR museum model that can later include additional Jordanian governorates. Ajloun works as the first focused experience, combining education, heritage, and immersive exploration in a way that feels more present than traditional display formats.
