Hunter The Runner
Challenge
Developing a fast-paced 2D runner with simple, responsive controls while creating progressively challenging gameplay that keeps players engaged and encourages continuous improvement.
Objective
To create an original game combining running, speed, timing, and obstacle avoidance, delivering an accessible gameplay experience that is easy to learn but challenging to master through a one-tap control system.
PG Studios Solution
Hunter the Runner was created and developed as a fast-paced 2D runner built around a simple jump mechanic. Players control Hunter with a single tap to jump over obstacles and navigate through each stage. The game features 40 seasonal levels with progressively increasing difficulty, creating a clear progression path while challenging players to improve their reflexes, timing, and overall performance.
